For technical experts such as risk managers, actuaries, IT specialists, information security staff, audit, legal or compliance specialists, leadership has a special significance. Technical expert leaders need to balance their detailed, often highly sophisticated work with thinking in larger contexts. They must communicate with larger and more diverse audiences and balance time spent on analytical work and with their leadership responsibility.
Often, technical experts take on their first role with responsibility for a team when they are already somewhat advanced in their careers. For this reason, it is most effective for them to receive specific, tailored training, where they will learn the leadership skills needed to inspire teams, coach individuals, co-create with others, and build commitment to a shared vision beyond their own teams.

8-week course delivered in 8 virtual 90min sessions plus two individual virtual meetings with each participant at the beginning and towards the end of the course. Alternatively, the course can be held as a 2-day on-site course with individual virtual preparation meetings.
The basic course is for technical experts who are new in a leadership role or are about to transfer into a leadership role.
The advanced course is for an audience consisting of already experienced executives who want to brush up their knowledge and learn newest insights.
The course language is English or German.
